FOLKESTONE'S FISHING HERITAGE AND HISTORY GROUP

Displaying fishing equipment, artefacts, pictures of former Folkestone fishermen and their boats.

Extreme importance is attached to Folkestone's fishing history relevance to the Town's development over the centuries. It is a 'hands on' display, showing visitors as much as possible of the range of activities practised both on land and at sea.

There are various items for sale including: postcards, photographs, local books, DVDs, note-lets and shells.
